this is .insidious.

.insidious. is to be an indie zine filled with a collection of viewpoints as varied as the people presenting them. Photos, stories, comments and opinions on life and how we live it. No rules, no regulations (with the exception of copyright laws, of course), just a venue for your social commentary. Each issue will have an individual theme, along with individual submission deadlines. After initial assembly and proof approval, the zines will be printed and distributed on demand. Pricing has not been finalized, as it will depend greatly on the number of printed pages per issue.

Specs:
* Zines will be printed in full color, on FSC-certified, 50% recycled, 80# paper - 8.25" x 10.75"
* Pages per issue will vary, but should average between 10 and 30. More, if necessary to accommodate a longer written submission.
* Anticipated production is four issues per year, and one photo-only issue to feature the best photos from the preceding year. This "extra" issue will most likely be the product of competition - photos selected by reader votes near the end of the year.
* Yearly subscriptions will be available at a discounted rate.
* Elements of the zine will be featured online as well as in print, via Facebook, an editor's blog, and potentially a dedicated website.
* Any and all submissions will be considered, and proper credit will be given to authors and artists.
* Advertising space will be available, either for single issues or for the year's run. Advertising slots will be noticeable, but non-invasive. Ads will require editor's approval before they are accepted.
* In the future, royalties may be paid to recurring content providers.
* If the subscriber list eventually hits more than 20 people per issue, ALL contributors will receive some percentage of the profits.
